– Afrobeat singer, songwriter, performer and instrumentalist, Femi Anikulapo Kuti, has reacted to a post after his recent loss at the 64th Grammy Awards.
– The 59-year-old artiste, who is also a son of Nigerian afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2022.

– In the Best Global Music Performance category, his song “Pà Pá Pà” was nominated, but he lost to Pakistani artist Arooj Aftab.
– The ace singer’s double album with his son Made Kuti, titled “Legacy,” was also nominated in the Best Global Music Album category, in which they lost to Beninese iconic singer Angélique Kidjo, who took away the prize with her “Mother Nature” album.
– Femi, who has been nominated for the Grammys no less than five times and hasn’t won any yet, reacted to a comic Grammy-related Twitter post.
