The lawmaker representing Nassarawa Eggon East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Muluku Agah, has urged Christians and other Nigerians to pray for peace and for leaders to succeed.
This is contained in a statement issued in Lafia by his Personal Assistant on Media, Mr Yaks Abimiku on Sunday.
Agah said that the teachings of “Easter is anchored on love, unity, peace tolerance, forgiveness, and accommodation of one another.
The lawmaker also called on the Christians of his constituency, the state and other Nigerians to pray for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administrations in Nasarawa State to succeed
The lawmaker also called on Christians and other Nigerians to be their brother’s keepers by extending hands of friendship to the less-privileged ones to improve their standard of living.
“May the lesson of the season brings more peace and development to our state and our country.
“Let’s all continue to pray for our leaders to succeed and for us to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he said.
He also called on the people of his constituency, the state, and Nigerians at large to pray for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections in the country.

Agah assured the people of his constituency of good and sound representation in the state legislature at all times.
