– Nigerian superstar Davido and talented singers Aisha and Trinidad Cardona have collaborated on the first soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup 2022.

– David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is featured on the FIFA official soundtrack for the Qatar World Cup 2022.

– The world football governing body (FIFA) made an official announcement on its social media platform with the song itself being attached to the post.

– The song “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” also featured Trinidad Cardona, an American R&B musician, and Aisha, a Qatari songstress.

– “I’m honoured to be featured on the Official @FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack,” Davido said on Twitter.

– ‘Hayya Hayya’ is one of the first projects of activation for the 2022 World Cup.

– The song will be performed live for the first time today at the draw ceremony, the official ceremony where teams are grouped.

– It will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world.

– The tournament will be the last to involve 32 teams, with an increase to 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

– Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Eagles will not be competing in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after losing their ticket to their west African arch-rivals, Ghana’s Black Stars, following a 1-1 draw at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.

– The World Cup will be held in Qatar between November and December 2022.
