Bobrisky reacts as Reps move to ban cross-dressing

– Popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has reacted to the move by the House of Representatives to ban cross-dressing in Nigeria.

– The socialite said she is not a crossdresser as many would say.

– Bobrisky insisted that she is a woman and has not dont any surgery to reverse her sex.

– Bobrisky took to her social media platform, Instagram to respond to move by House of Representatives to ban cross-dressing in Nigeria

– She wrote (SIC):

– “I’m not a crossdresser, I’m a woman. Have done many surgeries that can’t be reversed such as lipo boobs etc. When the time come even court set go confirm say I’m now a girl.”

– Recall, Umar Muda, a member of the House of Representatives had last week introduced a bill to prohibit cross-dressing in Nigeria.

– The bill seeks to ban cross-dressing with the exemption of those using it for entertainment.

– With this proposed law, crossdressers now risk 6 months in prison if passed.

– The bill seeks to amend the same-sex marriage (prohibition) act of 2013 by including cross-dressing as one of the offences under the act.
