Media personality, Reno Omokri, has criticised African’s who opt for prayers for Ukraine in the context of the Russian invasion.
According to Reno, Ethiopia and Tigray were at war and the number of those who died in it are more than those who died in Ukraine but nobody seeks for Ethiopia to be prayed for while some didn’t even notice because it was in Africa.
He wondered how many turned prayer warriors overnight because it is now an Europe affair.
He wrote:
“Ethiopia and Tigray have been at war.
Over 100 times the number of people killed in Ukraine have died in that war.
How many Black Africans started Pray for Ethiopia?
How many even noticed?
But now Europeans are fighting each other, you have turned prayer warrior!”
