Social media activist Reno Omokri has made a public appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari as the Eagles are set to meet the Black Stars of Ghana in their crucial World Cupqualifier.

The first leg is holding on Friday night in Ghana.

Reno is pleading Buhari not to call the Super Eagles in any form.

According to Reno, if the President wants to move in the spirit of West African brotherhood, he can help him get the number of the Black Stars of Ghana so he can call them.

Playing on the experience of the Eagles’ loss during the last African Cup of Nations match, before which the President called the players, while the eam eventually lost, he wrote:

“Dear General Buhari,

The only appeal I make to you as Nigeria is set to face Ghana in a World Cup qualifier is please do NOT call the Super Eagles.

Whether video or audio call, please, please, and please, do NOT call.

If you want to call, I can get you the number of the Black Stars of Ghana.

In the spirit of West African brotherhood, you may wish to call them to ‘inspire them’.

Thank you!”
