Nigeria’s ex-right winger, Tijani Babangida, has counselled Super Eagles coach, Austen Eguavoen, on the choice of strikers for Nigeria’s crucial match against Ghana, towards qualifying for Qatar’ 2022.

Babangida, a mesmerising dribbler in his days, believes the country has solid strikers who can deliver goals.

He, however, wants Eguavoen to be careful in his selection.

In an interview with ‘Ghanasoccernet, , he says,
“There is no doubt that the current strikers in the Super Eagles are not doing badly in Europe.

“The likes of Osimhen, Ighalo, Sadiq and others are banging the goals for their respective clubs and it’s a sign of good things to come for the team.”

“Again, this will definitely give Eguavoen a serious headache in terms of who to select for the game against Ghana.”

Nigeria will play Ghana, first away, on March 25, and host them four days after.
