A former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has said that subjecting all Nigerians to DNA tests can cause World War 3 faster than Russian invasion of Ukraine can.
there is something greater than what can cause the real World War 3 that people feel the Russia – Ukraine conflict is.
According to him, if Nigerian’s want to see a World War 3 happen in Nigeria, a DNA test should be done on every first born in a family.
He wrote:
“I just laugh at Nigerians that are calling this Russia-Ukraine conflict World War 3.
If you really want to see the real World War 3, let every first born child of all Nigerian marriages be DNA tested.
The result of the DNA tests will result in the World War 3 that Nigerians are talking about.
But seriously, as Black Africans, let us learn to put things into proper perspective. Not into CNN perspective.
Don’t elevate a regional conflict into a global conflict.
The Russia-Ukraine war is not a World War.
The Ethiopia-Tigray war, which has killed 150,000 people, is more deserving of Africa’s focus!”
In another post, he says about wars:
“When your enemy knows that you are desperate to avoid war, that is already enough reason for him to bring war to your doorstep.
The only way you can avoid war is by being so prepared that your enemy know that if he attacks you, you will defeat him or there will be mutual destruction.
That is why you must never appease your enemy.
Appeasement to an enemy has the same effect that fear has on a dog or a demon.
It strengthens their morale and weakens yours.
No matter how much you want peace, prelate to fight.
Don’t give an inch to your enemy. You are digging your grave!”
He also believes Nigerians are facing more than a war:
“Ukraine still has power.
Phones still work.
Water still flows through the taps.
There are no fuel queues.
Their President is still in Ukraine.
Nigeria, where is Buhari? In France.
Do we have fuel?
Do we have power?
Do we have water?
Don’t cry for Ukraine.
Cry for Nigeria!
Even without war, our government is not able to provide the leadership, as well as the social and utility services that a war ravaged Ukraine is still providing to its citizens.”
