Wizkid sets new record for African music with Made In Lagos album

– Global Superstar and grammy award-winning artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, re-writes history for African music on the Billboard charts with his album ‘Made In Lagos.’

– Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ became the longest-charting African album on the Billboard World Album charts on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, after spending a total of 67 weeks on the charts.

– Wizkid had surpassed the existing record on the Billboard charts, which had been held by the legend Cesaria Evora’s album ‘Cesaria,’ which had spent 66 weeks on the charts.
