– Popular and multi-award-winning act Ayodeji Balogun, popularly as Wizkid, has expanded his record and certifications in Canada with two different songs.
– The year 2022 keeps getting better for Wizkid as it was confirmed today, Monday, February 7, 2022, by the official account for the Gold and Platinum Canada, which is the authorized account for the Music Canada’s certification that the popular singer has just bagged two more certifications with two different songs.
– Wizkid has received Gold certification for his worldwide smash single “Joro,” as well as Platinum certification for his record-breaking song “Essence,” which features Tems and is on his “Made In Lagos” album.

– “Essence” is Wizkid’s second song to get certified Platinum in Canada after the hit “Come Closer” off his ” Sounds From The Other Side” album that features Grammy awarding winning rapper Drake.
