Former Super Eagles playmaker, JJ Okocha, has chided Sadio Mane over the way he played a penalty he lost in the ongoing Senegal match against Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations final.

Mane lost what seemed an early golden opportunity for Senegal in the seventh minute.

The kick was preceded by a little drama as Mane joined Mo Salah and Egypt’s goalkeeper when Salah was having a chat with the keeper ahead of the kick.

Mane aggressively asked the keeper to move back to position so that he could play the spot kick.

He eventually fired the shot into the keeper’s hand.

Analysing the match, Okocha said Mane was too nervous before shooting.

According to him, he shouldn’t have joined in the argument.

Rather, he should have stayed back and remained focus on the shot he wanted to take.
