Manchester United Captain, Harry Maguire, has dismissed reports that he is in supremacy battle with with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Reports had said that the prominence the latter has been enjoying since he joined Man U from Juventus has upset Maguire.
It is also said that the team’s manager has asked Ronaldo to mentor the younger folks, which, it is further said, is a slight on Maguire.
But reacting on Friday, he said in a tweet: “I’ve seen a lot of reports about this club that aren’t true and this is another,” he posted on Twitter on Friday ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match at Leeds.
“Not going to start posting about everything that is written but I needed to make this one clear. We’re united and focused on Sunday. Enjoy your day everyone.”
