President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Retired Col. Paul Wyom, the Sarkin Kagomo (Kpop Gwong), in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, as he celebrates his 78 years of existence.
The president’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Malam Garba Shehu, on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said: “I wish to celebrate with Col. Wyom, the Sarkin Kagomo, on his birthday and pray that he remains in wonderful health.’’
The president described the retired military officer, now a first class traditional ruler, as “a man of peace; a lamp of hope, who has devoted his time and energy toward strengthening the peace, goodwill and fraternity among the people of our country.”
He wished the royal father many happy returns.
