Another female aspirant has emerged for the Nigerian Presidency in the 2023 election.

She is Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi, daughter of veteral lawyer and elder statesman, Femi Okunnu, SAN.

Although she is a green horn, she says she has the right vision and convinction.

Khadijah is a renowned entrepreneur and youth development advocate. She is also the founder and chief executive officer of Slice Media Solutions.

Declaring her intention, she said: “I believe in the possibilities Nigeria holds; that is why I have taken this first step, not because there are no fears, but the will to bring about the Nigeria we all wish, hope and believe we can make a reality together.”

The declaration has generated a debate, with some saying she was too ambitious while others said she should be given a chance.

Interestingly, in Lagos where she comes from, tension is rising over the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is also believed to be planning to declare.

Osinbajo came to the limelight after Tinubu appointed him as a commissioner when he was the Lagos State Governor between 1999 and 2007.
