Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has advised popular skit maker, De General, to quickly repair his image.

De General was recently convicted after he was arrested for being in possession of hard drugs.

Kemi has weighed in on the issue, saying the skit maker needed to enrol in a drug education community programme in order to repair his image.

The journalist, who noted this in her Instagram story, said that the clause ‘Go and sin no more’ by the judge was not a pardon but a harsh lesson for the skit maker.

She wrote (SIC):

“Wake up people!

Judge Osiagor convicted Comedian DeGeneral of drug Trafficking without a sentence.

“Go and sin no more” is not a pardon or a slap on the wrist.

It’s actually a harsh lesson for the Tramadol trafficker using real tablets as a prop for a skit.🙄

How did he obtain 200 sachet of a control substance narcotic?

Who will give him travel visas, endorsements and opportunities?

Basketmouth and Mr Macaroni are silent now about their junior colleague.

I’m not as interested in the marijuana as the highly addictive prescription drugs.

He needs to repair his image quickly by enrolling into a drug education community programme.
