C’ River Govt. urges contractor to complete school project on time

The Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has charged the contractor handling the British Canadian International Model School, Obudu, to speed up the work ahead of its planned inauguration.
The Executive Chairman of the board, Sen. Stephen Odey, gave charge in Obudu on Wednesday while on inspection tour of public primary schools across the state.

Odey however expressed satisfaction with the quality of work so far done in the school.
He informed the contractors of Gov. Ben Ayade’s desire to inaugurate the school within the first quarter of 2022.
“I am pleased with the quality of work you have done, but you have expedite action to complete it within the first quarter of 2022, so that the Governor will inaugurate it,” he said.
Responding, the Project Manager, Engr Gilbert Oyama, gave the assurance assured that the project would be completed within the stipulated time.
