Anxiety and confusion surrounded the state of health of popular Yoruba actress, Iyabo Oko, on Wednesday as she was reported to have died.
But developing news indicates that she has returned to life, according to her family.
The actress whose real name was Sidikatu Odukanmi was said to have died weeks after comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, passed on.
Iyabo Oko has been bedridden for some time, to the extent that she was falsely rumoured to have died some months back.
Last year, one of her daughters, Olamide, disclosed that her mother was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke five years earlier but kept her health issues away from the public.
She acted in many stage plays and films, combining serious with comic roles.

She and other characters usually build humour around her heavy backside for, to her, all is fun as she gives everything to theatre, like many of hr contemporaries.
Since late Wednesday, the actress’ colleagues had been mourning her.
Among such are Tunde Yusuf, Foluke Daramola and Tayo Soyebo.
Meanwhile, Iyabo Oko’s soldier daughter, Bisi Aisha, also initially confirmed her passage, writing, “May ur soul Rest In Peace mummy.”
But on the latest development, she writes, “Wonderful being, she moved her hand after being confirmed dead three hours ago. God, we will forever praise your holy name.”
Also, Tayo Sobola wrote on Thursday, “Breaking News on Iyabo Oko!!!Her daughter called not quite long ago that she moved her hand and the Doc still felt her pulse, it was d same daughter that announced her death to me. Pls let us pray for her ooo.”
