Nominations have opened for the maiden “Feminine Nigeria Achievement Awards”, scheduled for March 2022 in Abuja.

Organisers of the event, The NG BUZZ Executive Limited, a subsidiary of The Business Executive Group, a Pan-African events and media organisation, based in Accra, Ghana, said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Saturday.

They said that the event, strictly for ladies, would have, as its theme: “The Contribution of Corporate Women to the Socio-economic Development of Nigeria in the Post-COVID Era.”

Phenomenal reports that the event, dubbed the ‘SHE Achiever’ awards, which holds annually, will see winners conferred with awards in various categories and sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Phenomenal also reports that well-crafted profiles of winners of the awards will be published in the Business Executive magazine.

“The Feminine Nigeria Achievement Awards was established to identify, publicly recognise and reward women, whose personal and professional conducts have been exemplary.

“It is also for women whose achievements have been outstanding in the Nigerian corporate and public sector space.

“The event seeks to recognise women in Nigeria, who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in various forms of endeavour, such as entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, senior public sector managers, diplomats, sportswomen and traditional rulers, among others.

“Awardees will be selected by the Nigerian public, who will first nominate the entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, senior public sector managers, diplomats, sportswomen and traditional rulers for short listing, after due diligence verification of the nominations.

“The public will subsequently vote for the shortlisted nominees, with those receiving the highest votes in each sector under a particular category declared the winners by the scheme’s official validation partners,” the organizers said.

According to them, nominations can be made on the awards’ website (http://nfaa.thebusinessexecutive.net/) till the end of February 2022.

Phenomenal reports that the organisation had organised similar awards like the Business Executive Excellence Awards, Ghana Development Awards, Environment Health and Safety Awards and Ghana Philanthropy Awards.

The company had also organised the much-acclaimed Africa Global Trade and Investment Awards and Africa’s Most Respected CEOs Awards, hosted this year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
