Star actress, Funke Akindele, has warned that there are many people out there whose plan is to use one, but are masquerading as loved ones.
While she does not indicate that she is talking about a personal experience, she says the best thing to do is take care of oneself first.
Funke continued to have a good time at home and work in 2021.
Her film business continued to grow at the level of production – including the release of a new acclaimed movie and the expansion of her Jenifer series.

She is rumoured to have bought more facilities in her Amen Estate, Lekki, Lagos base.
She, however, had a slight brush when her film and that of Toyin Abrahams came out the same time.
A critic had underplayed Toyin’s work, while projecting the Akindele’s.
This sparked a fight as another actress closer to Toyin, Iyabo Ojo, lampooned Funke, suggesting she was behind the harsh treatment of Toyin’s worlk.
In an IG post on Monday, Akindele stresses the importance of taking good care of oneself:
“Ensure you come first always. There are a lot of users out there masquerading as loved ones.”
