A Nigerian man, Onyedikachukwu Anambra, has confronted the Army with photographs of male soldiers who openly engaged ladies in marriage proposals.
It is his response to the military’s statement that it has detained a female soldier who accepted an engagement offer from a youth corps member serving in Kwara State.
They met at the orientation camp where the ‘corper’ proposed to her.
She accepted in a pool of kissing and applause from the crowd – and public.
But the Nigerian Army says she broke its policy against fraternisation and social media.
According to Onyedikachukwu, however, the military never reacted so when male soldiers were involved in such a romantic business.
