Fans of popular skit maker, Cute Abiola, can now heave a sigh of relief as he has regained freedom from the custody of the Nigerian Navy.
But the artiste himself is not just savouring freedom, he is also speaking with courage on the ordeal he has passed through.
He had been arrested since November 14 for allegedly violating the Navy’s social media policy.
Abiola is also a member of the naval personnel.
While the comedian said to have also violated the policy by wearing a police uniform and thus ridiculing the Nigerian police was initially in detention, his punishment was later relaxed as, in the last days, he was made to do oversee menial jobs within the barracks.
