Gallant officer Abdurrahman Hazala Adam has been identified as one of those felled on December 3, 2021 when Boko Haram/ISWAP again attacked Borno State on Friday, December 3.
Adam was a fine gentleman officer who just got wedded last year.
He left his two parents and wife behind – according to his brother, Salmhan Abdurrahman, who mourned him of Facebook.
The mad war has continued to claim casualties, military and civilians, destroying property and gulping funds and more, while stretching as if it will never end.
The military have confirmed that two officers and five soldiers were killed in the Friday’s attack, when operatives of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) engaged Boko Haram (BH) and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists who infiltrated Rann, a town in Kala Balge LGA of Borno State.
While three other members of the Sector 1 Joint Task Force(JTF) North East(NE) were injured in the attack, army spokesman, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, said the troops neutralised scores of the terrorists who came on gun trucks and motorcycles.
