Popular comedian and actor Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has said that his first love is music, not comedy.
This comes a few weeks after Basketmouth delved into the music industry and dropped a new single titled ‘Trouble’.
‘Trouble’ features 2Baba and Blaqbonez and was produced by Duktor Sett.
It is a track off the comedian’s anticipated album titled “Horoscopes.”
Taking to his Instagram page, Basketmouth said most people did not know that music was his first love before acting and comedy, but he decided to do it backwards.
According to Basketmouth, he could not initially go into music as the timing was not suitable for him, and he had not met a producer that could see music the way he sees it.
He stressed, “Most people do not know this but music was my first love, then TV before comedy. I had to do it backwards as the timing wasn’t right & I hadn’t met a producer that can see music the way I see it……in it’s true form & colour.God bless the day I met you @duktorsett..”
