Nigeria lost one of its politicians on Saturday as Senator Gbenga Aluko passed on.
A member of the National Assembly between 1999 and 2003, he was the son of late acclaimed economist, Professor Sam Aluko.
According to sources, the politician popularly called SGA slumped in his office and died.
Another source, however, claimed he had heart attack, which has however not been medically confirmed.
According to Television Continental, the deceased, who was also once a governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, was rushed to a hospital where he passed on.
TVC reported that one of Aluko’s aides who spoke on condition of anonymity told Radio Nigeria that Aluko was neither sick nor exhibited any symptom of sickness.
