Contrary to earlier reports, socialite entrepreneur, Obi Cubana, may not have been released yet by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, which has seized his passport.
There were reports on Tuesday that he had been released.
But the EFCC’s spokeperson, Wilson Uwujaren, has said the man accused of money laundering is still with them.

Cubana was arrested on Monday, with his wife, Ebele, liking his ordeal to some of the trials that Jesus experienced.
Also, his celebrity friends and allies, including Kanayo O Kanayo, Davido and Cubana Chief Priest, rose in his support, defending him as someone who genuinely works for his money.
