Entertainment entrepreneur, Obi Cubana, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission – EFCC.
He was said to have been arrested on Monday, with reports saying he had yet to be released.
Although there is no official statement yet from the commission, ‘The Punch’ quoted sources as saying Cubana was picked up by noon, on allegations bordering on money laundering.
Cubana hit the consciousness of many when he buried his mother in Oba, Anambra State, with an unprecedented jamboree.
Cows, said to have been donated by friends, numbered up to 250, while many celebrities stormed Oba from different parts of the country.
