There are indications that although popular comedian, Babatunde Omidina, had suffered a protracted illness, his eventual death caught his people unawares.
According to one of his sons, Adesola Oidina, it was sudden.
He gave the indication in a post in which he announced the death on Monday.
Adesola said, “This is to announce the sudden death of my father, Mr. Babatunde Omidina. The legend and rare gem “Baba Suwe “ died on 11/22/21.
“Other details will follow shortly! May your soul rest in perfect peace Dad. Signed: Adesola Omidina 11/22/21.”
