Popular actor, Chiwetalu Agu, remained unapologetic about his dress even while in the custody of the Nigerian Army Wednesday through Thursday.
He was arrested in Onitsha, but has now been released.
The military said he was not only wearing what they called a Biafran dress, but he was also inciting the people.
He, however, denied both allegations, saying he was sharing bread to people.
On his dress, he said it did not belong to Biafra.
His defence: “I can wear this…this is rising sun, not Biafra, not Eastern Security Network…This is a civil dress
“With my education, I know areas to go, areas not to go
“I was sharing 10,000 worth of bread when he (soldier) came, no campaign, nobody was doing any demonstration or carrying people along. Even people who were hawking, I was giving them bread.”
