Popular Nigeria Comedian and actor Mr Macaroni has sent out a message to the government as the remembers last year’s #ENDSARS protests.
Mr Macaroni was part of those who led the protests. Even after he was arrested, he still did not relent in lending his voice in search for better governance and Nigeria as a whole.
Mr Macaroni said on his Facebook page:
“The people are not the enemy
Stop killing us! Stop oppressing us!
All we want is a better nation that we all can be proud of!
May the lives we have lost to any form of Government oppression or police brutality never be in vain.
#AlutaContinua✊.”
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has said that there was no massacre during the @ENDSARS rpotests, saying the likes of Amnesty International and CNN lied.
But the AI has insisted that people died, saying at least 56 people were killed.
