There was no retreat and mo surrender on the parts of the two major factions of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State on Saturday.

These are the factions led by Governor Dapo Abiodun and the one led by his predecessor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Both held separate congresses, thus producing two executives, amid gunshots recorded at the Amosun-led’s venue.

While Abiodun and his loyalists held their congress at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Amosun’s loyalists held theirs at the Ake Palace ground, Abeokuta.

The two factions embraced consensus arrangement which was ratified by voice votes from the delegates at the congress.
