Amid the widespread shock and mockery greeting the 5-0 loss that Manchester United suffered in the hands of Liverpool on Sunday, seperstar striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has urged his team to embrace the reality of what they must do to overcome their predicament.

Man U fell at their own Old Trafford, where Mo Salah alone hit the net thrice.

Many are demanding United’s Manager Ole Solkskjaer leave but Ronaldo says regeneration lies in the hands of the team.

He notes in a Facebook post, which has attracted thousands of mixed responses:
“Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame. Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support. They deserve better than this, much better, and it’s up to us to deliver. The time is now!”
