Old and new voices have emerged on the short list of the Association of Nigerian Authors prizes for 2021.

ANA, a baby of legendary writers such as Chinua Achebe, has staged its awards for decades, in an aura defined by consistent integrity.

On the list are widely travelled Onyeka Onwule; lecturer at the Kwara State University, Malete, Kehinde Akano, and several others.
