Highly performing goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, has expressed his mind over his exclusion from the 30-man list of this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Many believe it is unjust based on his performance in Chelsea and at the national level but he says he does not really see it so.
Reacting in an interview with Canal+, he said, “It’s something that motivates me to go forward, to work and be performant at club level and with my country, and as I said after the game with the national team, it’s the journalists’ freedom of vote and expression, and they vote honourably and conscientiously.”
