Reality star, Angel, is still freely talking about herself.
The 21-year-old who radiated exuberance during the just-concluded BBNaija show, says she is not too different from some of the traits she exhibited while in the house.
Angel first shocked many viewers when she stepped out in a see-through gown on an unprotected body, as the whistle blew for the beginning of the BBNaija 6.
Later, she related freely – many felt too freely – with guys, kissing sporadically and exhibiting otherwise sacred parts of her body.
Now in an interview with WAZOBIA FM, Angel stresses that she is who she is.
She however clarifies her stand on love and being loved. According to her, she is capable of loving but the experience she has had scares her.
Angel says, “I am worse outside the house. I flirt a lot. I don’t have any problem with love but I am scared because I do not want to get hurt. I have been hurt by a lot of things in my life. I just have to protect myself because I don’t think I have any more tolerance for pain. I just had to build walls. I can still change my mind towards love but I am just scared to get hurt.”
Meawnhile, she also dwells on her approach while in the BBNaija house, saying she did not have any main strategy initially. Besides, she reveals that part of her planned projects now is floating a platform on mental health:
“I did not have any strategy when I entered the house. I saw that it was working for me. I was simply catching cruise. I started playing my game during the eighth week of the show when I came back from possible eviction. But at the initial start, I did not have a strategy.’’
“I want to also start a mental health blog for people that are struggling with mental health. I have struggled with it before and there is a stigma attached to it. Some people feel when you talk about anxiety or depression, you are crazy. People use it to insult others. The aim of the blog is to give people a comfortable space to talk. I believe when I start talking about it, people will be more aware.”
