Star musician, Davido, has said that he does not know what advice he shhould offer himself.
It is a way of saying he is satisfied with what he is and what he has attained.
He said it was easy for him to give advice to others but insisted life was about accepting what one ruly was.
He noted this in an interview with French magazine, LÓfficel.
Davido’s rise has been phenomenal and, like Wizkid and Burna Boy, his limelight has really endured.
He has, however, also seen adversity, an example of which is the death of some of his aides or friends – including Tagbo, Obama and Fortune, the last being his official photographer who got drowned in Lagos about a week ago.
He told the magazin: “I don’t know because I feel everything happens for a reason. I have been through so many obstacles that I feel helped to shape into the man I am now and the name I have now. I don’t know what advice I’d give to myself, but when people do ask me for advice, I tell them, “Just be true to yourself, pray, make good music and hope stuff works out. Also, be good to people. If you make it, help your brother, help your friend from the hood that sings too.”
