#ENDSARS anniversary: Brutalised Uber driver demands N500m compensation, sacking of errant LSNC officer

There is a twist to the story of Clement Adedotun, the Uber driver who was brutalised by an official of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps and some policemen on October 20, 2021, when the one year anniversary of #ENDSARS was being observed at Lekki Toll Gate.

Although the LNSC has sent the officer on suspension, Adedotun has demanded N500m compensation from the agency and the Nigerian Police.

Besides, he is demanding that the LSNC official be saked.

His demand is contained in a letter written by his lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, giving the Lagos State Governmrnt a 48-hour deadline to pay the compensation or risk being sued:
