– David Beckham has agreed to become the face of the Qatar World Cup and it is expected that he will be unveiled next month.
– He has signed a £15million-per-year over the next decade deal to become the country’s ambassador.
– He’ll also become the ambassador for Qatar over the next ten years in a deal that will see him earn over 175 million euros.

– This historic World Cup, which will take place for the first time during the European wintertime, will also see some other faces such as Xavi Hernandez, Samuel Eto’o, Cafu, Ronald de Boer and Tim Cahill join Beckham in promoting the tournament.
– Beckham’s job will go beyond the World Cup as he’ll be tasked with promoting tourism and culture in the country.
