– Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti hopes ‘to win another’ Champions League but doesn’t want to compare his team to the one that won three in a row with Zinedine Zidane.
– Ancelotti won La Decima with Los Blancos in 2013-14 and his third after the successes with Milan in 2002-03 and 2006-07.
– Real Madrid prepare for the home game against FC Sheriff Tiraspol on Tuesday night, having started the 2021-22 campaign with a 1-0 win over Inter in the first fixture.

– “For us, it’s special to represent this club,” Ancelotti said at a press conference. “It’s a more difficult competition but we are more used to winning it than others, we have a small advantage.”
– When Ancelotti was coy when asked to compare the current crop to the successful side under coach Zinedine Zidane.
– “It’s hard to say, because the squad has changed and I don’t want to compare this team to the one that Zizou had,” Ancelotti said.
– “Zizou did the best he could, I wish I could win three Champions League in a row, I wish I could win another one.”
