Governors in the Northern Governors Forum have giiven reasons they are rejecting the Valuee Added Tax laws passed by Lagos and Rivers states.
They announced their rejection of the laws during their meeting on Monday.
According to them, a Federal High Court has rejected it.
Also, they said,VAT was being confused with sales tax.
Also, they noted that state collection of VAT would lead to increase in prices of goods.
