Popular musician, Davido, has revisited issues around the antipolice brutality #ENDSARS campaign that shook Nigeria in the last quarter of 2020.

He reviewed the role he played and the impact the crusade had on Nigeria.

According to him, the Nigerian government might not have done much about the object of the struggle, it really shocked them to the extent that they could not ignore it.

Davido revisited the protests on Wednesday while speaking of how ‘Fem’ became an anthem for the #EndSARS protest during a chat on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

He said: “I got into a lot of trouble. I had to actually leave the country. It was that bad.

“I was reposting everything that had to do with the campaign. It was amazing to see people come out like that.”

“And I will say this: they listened to us. They heard us. They might not have changed anything but they were shocked.””
