– Arsenal recovery continues as Martin Odegaard goal beats Burnley.

– Martin Odegaard scored the only goal of the game as Arsenal continued their recovery from a poor start to the season with a 1-0 win at Burnley.

– The Gunners started the Premier League campaign with three defeats, their worst start since 1954, but back-to-back 1-0 wins, following last week’s victory over Norwich, has seen Mikel Arteta’s side move away from the foot of the table.

– Odegaard’s free kick on 30 minutes was enough to seal three points for Arsenal. The midfielder curled the ball beautifully into the top corner of Nick Pope’s goal, but they were made to earn the points at Turf Moor against a spirited Burnley side.

– Matej Vydra went down under Aaron Ramsdale’s challenge following Ben White’s sloppy backpass on 69 minutes. A penalty was awarded to Burnley but VAR overturned the decision and Arsenal kept their advantage.

– Burnley remain winless in 19th place with just one point from their opening five matches.
