Popular blogger, Linda Ikeji, says she is ready to open a new chapter of her life.
That, she notes, is that she wants to go into film-making.
She revealed this in a statement on Thursday, saying she was a creative thinker and an amazing storyteller.
If she carries out her threat, she may then be toeing the line of the likes of Mo Abudu and Bolanle Austen-Peters, both of whom have something in common: they never started out as artists, actresses or filmmakers.
While Abudu had always been known as a broadcaster, especially through her programme, ‘Moment with Mo Abudu’, Austen-Peters studied Law.
Her first entry into the art and culture kingdom was through the establishment of Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Since the time she and Abudu, however, started producing movies (and plays on the part of Austen-Peters), the scene has not remained the same.
They soon started dictating the pace alongside another powerful female brand like Kemi Adetiba.
With Ikeji’s plan to veer into Nollywood, therefore, the world may thus be expecting another possible impatful force.
And she has some things it itakes to do well in the indudtry.
She is a big brand, has big media platform while she has also amassed a lot of connections, the type of which have really helped the early Amazons.
