Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has ordered the closure of all school in the state as they remained targets of banditry.
This followed the invasion of another school in – Government Secondary School – where gunmen abducted pupils and teachers.
Zamfara and some other states have been witnessing serious dislocation in schools, no thanks to bandits and insurgents.
Among such are Kaduna, Niger and Katsina.
Plateau too has, however, become a place of scare as invaders mount deadly assaults forcing the evacuation of students from the University of Jos.
