This Things Fall Apart proverb appears to be what guided the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Professor Charles Igwe, on Thursday, when he received socialite and businessman, Obi Cubana, at the school.
Cubana, who rattled the country and beyond recently when he threw a record-lavish funeral feast for his mother, graduated from the UNN 23 years ago and he felt the need to touch own.
He says he is excited at the way the VC and students received him: “Visited my Uni (UNN) earlier today. The VC Prof. Charles Igwe (in Grey suit) was so welcoming! The students were ecstatic! Been 23yrs I graduated from here mehn!!! Lovely Lions and Lionesses!!”
