Police in Ogun State are trying to resolve the puzzle characterising the death of a leading imam in Ijebu-Ode, Sheikh Mushafau Bakare, who was found dead in his car.
This happened on Thursday hours after he was reportedly kidnapped in the town.
He was found dead in his newly acquired Highlander car.
Although the police have yet to comment on the matter, remains of the cleric will be buried today, Thursday, August 12.
