Popular singer, Naira Marley, has expressed the wish to have been at the wedding of President Muhammdu Buhari’s son, Yusuf.
Naira Marley has had some skirmishes with both the state and Federal governments, especially over occasional breaking of COVID rules.
He has, however, always survived such, even when he was taken to court.
He was on Sunday inspired to be in the Buhari train after his music was played at the elite event.
Although, some social media users criticised playing the song at the occasion, which attracted the high and mighty, he simply claimed the honour.
Pundits will recall how Olu Maintain’s Yahooze was played during a Federal Government event attended by the then President Umaru YarÁdua.
Now sharing a video of the guests vibing to his songs on his Instagram page, Naira Marley wrote: “This was at Buhari’s son wedding yesterday in Kano. I’m a certified hit maker apparently, anytime you hear Naira Marley your home training must japa.
“I wish I was at this wedding sha looks too fun, I love them in the North and they love me too.”
