A member of the Big Brother Naija house, Angel, has revealed that she had a boyfriend now dead.
She spoke on hos she coped with his death while sharing her experiences in the house.
Angel has been at the centre of some controversies since the competition started, including the one sparked by her chest-see-through dress and the dubbing of her private parts as dirty by some of her competitors.
She noted, “I dealt with sexual assault and rape on my own as a young teenager because it was like, ‘Shut up about that. Don’t speak on it. That should be shameful.’ I dealt with the death of my boyfriend on my own.
“And you know how life is, it doesn’t matter how bad the situation you’re facing is. Everybody else is moving and it’s like you’re the one behind.
“So on mental health, I want to sensitise more people and I know that I have a bigger platform now. So it’s going to be easier to get a large audience and hopefully, that works out well.
“I’m also starting up an organisation for young female or young women; women in general but mostly young women.”
