A Zuba Upper Area Court, Abuja, on Thursday ordered that a 20-year-old hair tylist, Henry Sunday who allegedly stole a laptop, be remanded in a correctional centre.

The police charged Sunday who resides in Anagada village, Abuja, with conspiracy, house breaking and theft.

The judge, Gambo Garba, ordered that Sunday be remanded in the Nigerian Correctional Service facility in Suleja, until Sept. 29.

He pleaded not guilty.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr Chinedu Ogada told the court that the complainant, Ibru-Adogbeji Oghenetega of opposite Wisdom Garden Hotel Abuja, reported the matter at the Zuba Police Station on Aug.5

Ogada, said that on July 27 , the defendant and Ifeanyi Osor, now at large criminally broke into the complainant’s house and also stole cash of N228,500, Phones, first aid box containing drugs without his consent and ran away.

He also told the court that on Aug. 5, the defendant and Osor jointly broke into the same house at about 1: a.m and stole the complainant’s gas cooker, washing machine worth N 28,000,

During police investigation, he said, the laptop and first aid box were recovered from the defendant.
