New Manchester City’s big catch, Jack Grealish, has reflected on the role he will be playing in Manchester City.
He has been offered jersey number 10, as he is replacing goals wizard, Sergio Aguero.
According to him he joined the club because of the chance to win trophies but he said he knew the challenge ahead.
The 25-year-old who joined City on a six-year deal said at a press conference on Monday:
“It’s one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but it was something I couldn’t turn down.
“The chance to win trophies, to play with Kevin De Bruyne and to play for the best manager in the World was a massive factor as well.
“It’s big shoes to fill after Sergio had it for so many years. We know how successful he was.
“It shows how much the club value me and I feel I can play in it with full confidence,.
“I look around the changing room and there’s so much talent and so much depth, I fully believe we can win it (UCL) this year.
“We have so much talent in Premier League and the depth is crazy – that’s something we will be looking to win along with every other trophy”
