The family of legendary highlife musician, Victor Uwaifo, has spoken about the cause of his death.
It said he had chest pain, adding that the illness was brief.
The family has to particularly state this to drown a speculation that the ‘Joromi’ singer had COVID-19.
His nephew, Peter De Rock, also an artiste with whom the deceased recently had a collabo, said, “They don’t know what they are talking about.
“Sir Victor Uwaifo was admitted few days ago at the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City, Edo State.
“He bade the world farewell on Saturday evening at the same hospital.”
